I started texting back and forth with the basement tenants trying to figure out what date they were wanting to move what they want their other leads to speaker 2: end yeah speaker 1: cuz I wasn't clear on whether they were you know given 30 day notice on the basement so they're paying double where it or whether they were thinking they could just walk out of the basement with no obligation there you know what I mean right so anyways it should every time I asked her when she wanted her old lease to end she would respond by talking about what day she's going to move into the new place like I thought like say are you wanting your you know basically are you wanting a old lease to end the same day you move into the new place and again she didn't respond about when the old one was ended right and the meantime in the meantime I got another application for the completely different qualified speaker 2: person right speaker 1: probably better off on the 1st so that's this Wednesday without me you know immediately even having a vacancy in the basement and being in a position to enforce the 30-day notice a little bit speaker 2: basement speaker 1: which is better for us all around speaker 2: so speaker 1: probably speaker 2: accept you think they're better enough to overcome having a three income speaker 1: yeah I think so. Okay so then I still got a message today saying a man last thing you want is somebody to be mad at you when they're about to move out anyways you know what I speaker 2: mean right am I speaker 1: going through every single word I said going did I say anything that made her think I was promising it to her you know so but but I haven't so I thought I had really said in that regard was that speaker 2: they are you there speaker 1: sorry I lied really said was that they could transfer their phone number to deposit over if I did a walk-through instead of having to refund it and then pay it again well that doesn't promise it to him and I told him that their cousin wouldn't need to do a phone number application you know Society knew that they had good credit and I just said they weren't concerned about her being a criminal doesn't promising it to him so I went ahead and sent her a kind of long text saying well my real concern is that existing lease I got mortgages on both places so I can't afford for either one to go vacant for the month of July I don't mind letting you out of your we used to go to school August 31st however speaker 2: I speaker 1: can't go without a 30 day notice of intent to terminate wage because I have to have enough time to advertise that in order to have somebody move in whenever you move out so the only way I can do it is if you pay rep for both places in the month of July speaker 2: right and speaker 1: I would be willing to start advertising the basement and give you a prorated refund if somebody does move in mid July but I wouldn't expect anybody to be that most people plan to move around the speaker 2: first right speaker 1: and I figure we'll maybe that'll be enough to you know make her want to do it at speaker 2: all right speaker 1: and feel good about the fact that I'm letting her out of her lease and they have the flexibility to start off right you know since I kind of have their idea in mind of how they're going to share a place with their cousin and what their budget is and that kind of thing speaker 2: did she say anything speaker 1: no she hasn't speaker 2: responded speaker 1: they might be really bummed cuz they really have their hopes up that they could just move you know that's right and they might be sitting around talking about you know if there's anything else they could do to try or that's kind of what I figured. Yeah or they might be talking about actually doing it they might be thinking you know speaker 2: yeah speaker 1: gosh maybe somebody would take over and we would get half of it back and it's totally worth whatever $1,300 for us to get into a place we really like I have no idea if that's the conversation that they're having right now but either way either way both day and the other qualified applicant had said that the piano can stay there for a speaker 2: month speaker 1: that that helps off is the fan that I had just brought over this weekend down in the laundry room speaker 2: right now what was that the speaker 1: fan that I found that I just got is it in the laundry speaker 2: room yes I'm where's the silver one back of the shed oh you never got it off Jeremy's here so I guess I better go grab it and tell them you'll get you'll give him the silver fan yeah I mean if it's if it's definitely been a four-bedroom like that then yeah okay all right by I would like to talk to you maybe after the kids go to bed well okay okay bye-bye
